dynaConnect Mate is an intelligent solution designed to seamlessly interconnect your computer and your smartphone. dynaConnect Mate cares about the safety of users’ (hereinafter referred to as “your”) personal information. To provide you with our best software service (hereinafter referred to as “Service”), before using dynaConnect Mate, you must have carefully read and fully understand the content of each item in the User Agreement and Privacy Policy for dynaConnect Mate (hereinafter referred to as “Agree and continue”). You are permitted to use this Service only when you choose to accept all the terms defined in this Agreement. Otherwise, you must terminate use of the Service.

1.Smartphone and computer information used by dynaConnect Mate and how that information is used

In order to provide you with certain services, dynaConnect Mate will use certain information in the following ways:

1.1   When you try to create a connection between the smartphone and the computer by scanning the QR code with dynaConnect Mate, if you have given dynaConnect Mate permission, the program will access information about the smartphone’s operating system, IP address, Bluetooth MAC address, accurate geographic location, camera and the version of dynaConnect Mate etc. information. All of this information is considered fundamental to creating the connection between the smartphone and the computer.

1.2   When you use the “PPT Remote” or “Multi-media Remote” feature with dynaConnect Mate’s shake mode on the smartphone side, dynaConnect Mate will access the smartphone’s accelerator like the gravity sensing device.

1.3   With your authorization, when you use dynaConnect Mate on a computer to browse or download the smartphone’s files, dynaConnect Mate will access the smartphone’s storage, file list, and other possible information. This feature will be denied if you do not allow dynaConnect Mate to access that information in the smartphone.

1.4   When you use dynaConnect Mate’s “Send Clipboard Content” feature on the smartphone side, the smartphone’s clipboard content will be sent to the computer side in real-time without being saved.

1.5   When you use dynaConnect Mate’s “Remote Input” feature to input the content on the smartphone side, the dynaConnect Mate will conduct real-time processing of the contents you type and send them to the computer side without saving them in any storage device.

1.6   When you use dynaConnect Mate to browse or download the computer’s files on the smartphone, dynaConnect Mate will access the computer’s storage, file list, and other possible information.

1.7   When you use dynaConnect Mate’s “Send Clipboard Content” feature on the computer side, the computer’s clipboard content will be sent to the smartphone side in real time without being saved.

1.8   With your authorization, when you use dynaConnect Mate to display the smartphone’s mirror screen on the computer, the dynaConnect Mate on the smartphone side will capture the smartphone screen in real time and send it to the dynaConnect Mate on the computer side. Captured screen data will be processed in real time and will not be saved in any storage device. This feature will be denied if you do not allow dynaConnect Mate to capture the smartphone screen.

1.9When you use dynaConnect Mate’s Bluetooth, the dynaConnect Mate program on the smartphone side will access the device’s location information. This location information is only used to discover nearby bluetooth devices during Bluetooth scanning, and we will not collect, upload, or store the user’s location information, nor will we use the location information for other commercial purposes. Users can refuse the access to the device’s location information at any time through permission management in the system settings. Refusing access to this information will only prevent you from using the above features normally, but will not affect your normal use of other dynaConnect Mate features.

2.Storage of Information

Dynabook Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “We”) comply with laws and regulations regarding information, and the information we use will only be stored in the local storage device of the smartphone and the computer, and will not be uploaded or saved to a server.

3.Information Security

We are committed to protecting the security of your information and preventing any loss and improper use. We will use various security protection measures within a reasonable security level to ensure the security of information. The process of transmitting information between the smartphone and the computer has been encrypted, and the intercepting and cracking of the information by a third party is an illegal and criminal act. Once discovered, we will pursue the legal responsibility of the third party according to law. At the same time, we also ask you to understand that no security measures can be impeccable.

4.How We Use Information

The information we use will only be used to implement the functions and services provided by dynaConnect Mate complying with laws and regulations. If the use of your personal information exceeds the scope of our purpose statement or reasonable connection claimed at the time of use, we will inform you again and obtain your prior express consent before using your personal information.

5.Externally Parties

At present, we will not actively share or transfer your personal information to a third party outside of dynaConnect Mate, nor actively disclose your personal information to the public.

If there are other circumstances in which you require us to share or transfer your personal information to a third party outside of dynaConnect Mate, we will directly obtain or confirm that the third party has obtained your prior express consent to such behavior.

In addition, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, mandatory administrative law enforcement, or judicial requirements, we will obtain your express consent before publicly disclosing your personal information and inform you of the purpose of such public disclosure, type of information disclosed, and any sensitive information that may be involved.

6.Variation

We will revise this guideline in due course and show you the changed guideline in the form of push notifications, pop-ups or other appropriate forms when the version of dynaConnect Mate you use is updated.
